Welcome to Second Grade!
Hello Students and Families,
It's going to be a fabulous year! I will be starting my seventh year here at Kenny and have been teaching for fifteen years. My daughter, Nora, will be a fourth grader at Kenny. I love having her here with me! When I'm not teaching, my favorite things to do are traveling, spending time at the lake, cooking, and fishing or playing sports with Nora.
Every Friday, please be sure to check your email for our weekly newsletter. It will contain important updates and explain what your child is learning each week. Your child will be bringing home a folder each day. Each Wednesday, it will contain school-wide communications, such as upcoming school events and activities. Each Friday, it will contain class work your child has completed throughout the week.
Homework will include a monthly reading log, weekly spelling work, and a monthly math work packet. More to come soon on that!
