Note from your site coordinator:

Hello Kenny families and friends!

While this school year may look a little different. Community Ed is still excited to offer virtual Community Ed classes! Live classes will run Monday through Thursday. Live classes will be run through Google Meet. Now more than ever we recognize the importance of supporting students’ social and emotional development. As we go into fall we invite you to find one of our programs for your youth. Our programs serve youth in grades K-8 at Minneapolis Public school locations across the city.

  • Classes are first-come, first-serve.
  • A big change that will take place for families is our sliding scale fee pricing options. We understand that there may be some families who are currently experiencing financial hardships and we also know how kind and caring families are in our schools. You’ll see that you will be able to pick what you’re comfortable paying for. We will continue to offer scholarships as well for those families that qualify. No student will be turned away for inability to pay.
  • Your contribution helps us cover the cost of scholarships at this school and others. Across Minneapolis Community Education, we gave more than $15,000 in after school scholarships in 2019 and appreciate your help in making our programs accessible to all.
  • Refunds, minus a $5 processing fee, will be issued when requested at least three business days before the class starts. Full refunds will be issued if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment.
