Taking Care Of Books
At the beginning of the school year, students are taught how to properly care for library books. Guidelines discussed include:
1. Having a special place at home just for library books.
2. Not eating or drinking while reading.
3. Having clean hands when using library books.
4. Keeping books out of reach of younger children and pets.
5. Being gentle with the books.
6. Using a bookmark or piece of paper to mark your spot.
7. Making sure water bottles are either empty or closed when in your backpack with your library books.
