How can Minneapolis Public Schools balance our budget? By focusing on what counts and joining with families and our Minneapolis community. Please join us in February for a community discussion about how we can move MPS forward. We’ll talk about why MPS is recommending changes for the 2018-19 school year, how they may affect our learning communities and what can be done to make any changes easier.

Budget Allocation for 2017-2018 (Click here)
Monday, April 03, 2017 7:40 AM

Kenny School has received its budget allocation for the 2017-2018 school year.  Due to overspending by the district for several years, schools are receiving a 2.5% budget decrease as Superintendent Graff works to get the district back on track.  Pushing all of our current programming forward using the 17-18 costs, our school is short $105,211 and will lose our half time Math Specialist.  We will work to be extremely creative in planning for next year.  Please see the link if you are interested in seeing the numbers: 2017-18 Budget Packet
